Hudson Hospital Foundation

Since 1977, Hudson Hospital Foundation (HHF) has served local communities by raising funds to support Hudson Hospital & Clinic. This year, HHF is looking to fund the construction and equipment required for upgrades being made to the Hudson Hospital & Clinic Birth Center. 

While Hudson Hospital & Clinic proudly offers a highly rated birth center, each year approximately 40 preterm or moderately sick babies requiring a higher level of care are transferred to other facilities. This burden adds significant travel, stress and expense for new parents.

The expansion of neonatal services will enable hospital staff to better care for babies who are moderately preterm and sick. This specialized care is not available in St. Croix County.

The infants we care for are our future. We aim to provide optimal care for patients in the Birth Center and strive to follow best practices for the community. As we look to grow and expand services for moderately preterm babies, we know it is crucial for families to stay together. By enhancing what we offer at Hudson Hospital’s Birth Center, fewer babies will be transferred to a tertiary facility, parent and infant bonding will flourish, and stress on parents and infants will decrease. Whether babies are born healthy or need some attention to unforeseen issues, community support of the Birth Center leads to highly skilled care delivered with compassion and understanding.

Donate $400 to receive a certificate and information on the number of babies born following the month you sponsor.
